Paidha Black Angels SC Secured 2-0 Win Over Catda FC in FUFA Big League

Paidha Black Angels SC picked up a 2-0 win over Catda Football Club this evening at the FUFA Big League, thanks to the two second half goals from Ismail Siragi in the 58th minute and Hannington Oyirworth in the 88th minute.

Coach Mark Twinamatisko’s side has now secured their second win in a row and remains unbeaten at home this season. On the other hand, Catda FC, who are under new management after replacing Coach George Best Nsimbe with Godfrey Waswa, are yet to register their first away victory since joining the Big League at the start of the season.

Catda FC’s struggles continued under Coach Waswa, who has lost both games in charge, including his debut against Nebbi Central FC at home and today’s match against Paidha Black Angels SC. Notably, Waswa had handled Paidha Black Angels SC at the start of the season before being sacked.

Paidha Black Angels SC’s victory propels them to sixth place on the table with 20 points from 14 matches, while Catda Football Club remains in 12th position, one place above the relegation zone, with 16 points from 14 matches.

The win is a significant boost for Paidha Black Angels SC as they prepare to face Young Elephants FC at Elephant Park Nwoya this week. Catda FC, on the other hand, will be looking to turn their fortunes around when they visit Onduparaka FC at Greenlight Stadium.
