The Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League resumed over the weekend with exciting matches played across various venues. The day’s fixtures saw some thrilling encounters, with teams showcasing their skills and determination on the pitch.
At Maya playground, Wakiso Hill faced off against Boni Concilii Girls FC, and the match ended 1-3 in favor of the visitors.

Racheal Auma scored for the home team in the 36th minute, but Tooro Queens fought back with goals from Biiba Nenghamba in the 46th minute, Peace Ayiorwoth from a penalty in the 75th minute, and Grace Kasemiire in the 89th minute. Uwayo Imurinde of Boni Concilii Girls FC was named the woman of the match.

Rita Adero Racheal scored a brace in the 6th and 35th minutes, while Adok Jolly Charity, Cathy Nassimbwa, Nantongo Jane, and Kadondi Ritah also got on the scoresheet. Rita Adero Racheal was named the woman of the match.
Other matches played on the day included Ateker Wfc’s 0-1 loss to Jinja United WFC, with Babirye Patricia scoring the winner for Jinja in the 21st minute. Naggayi Joanitor of Jinja United WFC was named the woman of the match.

In the final match of the day, UPDF Women FC demolished Buhimba Lady Saints 5-1 at Bombo Military Barracks grounds. Dorothy Mpamwiza scored a brace in the 2nd and 41st minutes, Shanitah Nalubwama scored in the 29th minute, and Sandra Nakalyango scored in the 49th and 80th minutes. Madrine Kyomuhenda scored the consolation goal for Buhimba Lady Saints in the 53rd minute.
