“The first title will always be unforgettable, the second was a confirmation, but this third one… it’s what officially earns me a place in the exclusive Pantheon of Cross Country legends,” Kiplimo said, his voice trembling with emotion.

As he stood atop the podium, the weight of his achievement began to sink in. The long distances of the marathon had taken a toll on his body, but Cross Country was where he truly felt at home. It was a sentiment he’d echoed time and again, but now it resonated even deeper.

“The long distances of the marathon could have taken away some of my sharpness, but Cross Country is where I truly feel at home,” he said, a smile spreading across his face.

“Thanks to everyone who has been there cheering. Thanks my whole team, every victory is something that comes from the teamwork, training mates in Kapchorwa, coach, management and my Nike family… I’m still good with the spikes ,” he said, his eyes shining with gratitude.

“The key to my success is consistency in training and belief in what you’re doing,” he said, his voice filled with conviction.
