NEC FC secured their first home victory of the 2025/26 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Calvary FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo.

Charles Waibi’s decisive goal in the 72nd minute marked a turning point for the team, earning Coach Kaddu Badru Mukasa his first victory since taking over as head coach.

Immediately at the restart of the second stanza Coach Badru Mukasa Kaddu made a double change as Cromwell Rwothomio and Mustafa Kizza were replaced by Innocent Media and Muzamir Mutyaba .
