Tooke Packages Help To Push Longer, Batte Ahead Of Commonwealth Games Trip

Bombers captain Nuhu Batte has thanked Uganda Olympic Committee partner Tooke Processing for packages ahead of their trip to Scotland for the Commonwealth Games.
Speaking to reporters at the farewell ceremony of the Boxing, Netball, Judo and Swimming team, Batte addressed the media.
According to Batte:
“We are ready to represent our country and are looking forward to winning Gold.”
Batte is making his debut in the Games, and according to Batte:
“As an athlete I am happy to be playing outside Africa for the first time, and I am determined to come out with a medal because the poles are the same thing that separates support.”
When it comes to the Commonwealth Games, boxing is one of the sports that has been lifting Uganda in medal collection and it is also one of the sports that is expected to bring Uganda medals this time.
She Cranes player Gloria Aya also gave hope to the Ugandans in the netball team. According to Aya:
“We are going with the goal of finishing in the top three and we are determined to work towards it and not only that but also individual players this is a great opportunity to stand out to the world.”
Previous times She Cranes have been fighting for sixth place and if they finish in the top three they will win a medal for the first time since they started participating in the Games in 2018.
Judo’s Zubeda Talikaza also spoke. According to Talikaza:
“as an athlete I am happy to be among the crowd who was selected to represent Uganda for the first time but doing my best to shape my country.”
Joining the first group which will be dismissed on 17th of this month, the group is led by Moses Mwase who heads the swimming division and the deputy head of the Uganda Olympic Committee and Sarah Chelangat from the Uganda National Council of Sports.
