URA FC Strengthens Goalkeeping With Chrispas Kusiima’s Return

URA Football Club have announced the signing of goalkeeper Chrispas Kusiima.

Kusiima rejoins a side he featured for in 2026 on a two year employment contract following the expiry of deal at Kitara FC.

The 2024-25 Golden Glove award winner with 16 clean sheets in 27 matches has featured for a number clubs including Tooro United, Kitara FC, Gaddafi FC, Express FC among others.

At Express FC he won the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League title under Coach Waswa Bbosa.

Kusiima Rejoins URA FC

At Kitara Football Club he won the 2024 Stanbic Uganda Cup which earned them a ticket to represent Uganda in the TotalEnergies CAF Confederations Cup.

He is part of the Uganda Cranes Squad preparing for CHAN 2024 which kicks off from 2nd – 30th August.

He is the second player to join URA FC in this Transfer window after attacking midfielder Kabon Living.

Kusiima’s return is expected to strengthen URA FC’s goalkeeping department, given his impressive performances in the previous season.

He has played 62 Uganda Premier League matches over the past three seasons, keeping 32 clean sheets
