URA FC Cruises Into Stanbic Uganda Cup Quarterfinals With 3-0 Win Over Tapoh FC

URA FC has stormed into the quarterfinals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup, dominating Tapoh FC 3-0 at Hamza Stadium Nakivubo. The Uganda Premier League side showcased their prowess with a well‑crafted win, setting the stage for their next challenge.

In the 35th minute, Nyarwa Bitanywaine Olimi broke the deadlock with a stunning, beautifully curled shot that swooped into the far right corner of the net. The exquisite curler was expertly assisted by Kakooza Derrick, whose precise through‑ball set Olimi up for the spectacular finish, leaving the Tapoh goalkeeper with no chance to react.

The lead was doubled in the 65th minute when Captain Moses Okabo Aliro unleashed a powerful shot that deflected off Tapoh FC defender Joseph Okiror and kissed the back of the net (own goal).

URA FC sealed the victory in the 77th minute as Godfrey Ssekibengo delivered a thunderous, powerful shot into the net. The decisive goal was assisted by Denis Kisiriko, whose incisive pass released Sekibengo into the box, allowing him to unleash a blasting strike that left the opposition goalkeeper helpless.
