The FUFA Women Elite League commenced over the weekend with exciting encounters across various venues, showcasing the talent and determination of the participating teams.
URA Ladies and FC Tooro Queens shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw, with URA’s Vanessa Namazzi scoring for the home team and Tooro Queens’ Sauni Kemigisa equalizing in the 53rd minute.

Cecilia Kamuli of Tooro Queens was named Woman of the Match.
BUL WFC dominated PABO WFC in a 5-0 win, with Lilian Mugide scoring a brace in the 4th and 20th minutes, and Shadia Nakiwala adding two more goals in the 10th and 13th minutes. Twaha Abdallah Anisha scored the fifth goal in the 49th minute. Lilian Mugide was named Woman of the Match.
