Ugandan footballers were in action across various leagues around the world, showcasing their skills and making their mark. Let’s break it down league by league:
England Championship
- Divine Mukasa made a stunning debut for Leicester City, scoring a goal and making an assist as they defeated Southampton 4-3 (Tuesday).

- On Sunday Divine Mukasa played 120 minutes as his side Leicester lost to Southampton 2-1 in the FA Cup having shared spoils 1-1 in the Normal Time
England League Two
- Nathan Assimwe was introduced in the 76th minute as AFC Wimbledon shared spoils 3-3 with Barnsley (Saturday).
- Assimwe also played 69 minutes as his side AFC Wimbledon lost 2-1 to Northampton in the England League Trophy Quarter finals (Tuesday).
England FA Cup
- Toby Sibbick played 89 minutes as his side Burton Albion lost 1-0 to Premier League side West Ham United (Saturday).
Rwanda Premier League

- Ronald Ssekiganda and Hakim Kiwanuka featured in APR FC’s 2-0 loss to table leaders Al Hilal SC (Tuesday).
- Denis Omedi scored a late equalizer in the 92nd minute as APR FC shared spoils 1-1 with AS Kigali (Saturday).
- Emmanuel Okwi started on bench as his side Rwanda Police FC lost 1-0 to AS Kigali (Friday).
- Faizo Kazibwe was released by Gasogi United

- Denis Onyango was an unused substitute as Mamelodi Sundowns FC defeated MC Alger 2-0, advancing to the quarterfinals.

- Waibi Charles Moses, Titus Ssematimba and Mustapha Kizza were all absent as Nairobi United FC lost 3-0 to Maniema.

- In Chech Republic Slovan Liberic defeated Banik Ostrava 1-0 Uganda Cranes defender Aziz Kayondo didn’t feature in this match due to accumulated yellow cards .
- In Tunsia Travis Mutyaba played full-time as CS Sfaxien claimed a 1-0 victory over Ben Guerdane.
