It’s worth recalling that Jude Ssemugabi was part of Coach Shafik Bisaso’s Ssingo team that won the 2018 Masaza Cup title via penalty kicks (12-11) after the match ended 1-1 in normal time.
Ssemugabi emerged as the top scorer that year with eight goals and was awarded a brand-new motorbike.
His impressive performance earned him a deal in the Startimes Uganda Premier League, and he joined Mbarara City FC. Currently, he plays for South Sudan Premier League giants Jamus SC, a side he joined after the expiration of his contract with Kitara FC.

Ssingo Sazza FC is this season under the stewardship of Coach Basto Ssemuyaba, who took over after the stepping down of Hamza Lutalo. On Sunday, Ssingo Sazza FC drew 0-0 with Mawookota Sazza FC in the quarterfinals first leg of the Masaza Cup.
With the scoreline level at 0-0, Ssingo Football Club is just 90 minutes away from progressing to the semifinals in the return leg.

Jude Ssemugabi’s visit to Ssingo Football Club is a significant boost to the team, providing them with much-needed equipment and motivation.
His presence serves as an inspiration to the players, reminding them of the potential for success and growth in football.
With the Masaza Cup quarterfinals looming, Ssingo FC will look to capitalize on Ssemugabi’s visit and secure a winning performance in the return leg against Mawookota Sazza FC.
