Trio of Ugandan Match Officials Appointed for CAF Women’s Cup of Nations Qualifiers
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed three Ugandan match officials to oversee the African Women Cup of Nations Qualifiers match between Cameroon and Algeria. The highly anticipated match is scheduled to take place on October 28, 2025, in Douala City, Cameroon.

- Referee: Diana Murungi (Uganda) – a FIFA-certified referee with extensive experience in officiating high-profile matches, including the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers. She recently handled the finals between Rayon Sports and JKT Queens at the Nairobi Kasarani Stadium.

- Assistant Referee 1: Nassolo Elizabeth (Uganda) – an experienced assistant referee who has officiated alongside Diana Murungi in various tournaments.
- Assistant Referee 2: Ongeria Immaculate (Uganda) – a skilled and dedicated match official with a strong background in Ugandan football.
