Ugandan referees are shining on the continental stage, with a trio of officials selected to officiate at the TotalEnergies AFCON U17 CECAFA Region Qualifiers in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Meet the Officials:

Diana Murungi: A seasoned referee from Kitara Region with 10 years of experience, including 7 years as a FIFA Referee (2019). She’s officiated at notable tournaments like CECAFA Games For Women (Tanzania), CECAFA U17 Tournament (Uganda, 2019), and COSAFA Women’s tournament (South Africa, 2021), as well as the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers.
Engineer William Oloya Wilberforce: A FIFA Certified Referee (2018) with a wealth of experience in tournaments like CECAFA U17 (2018) and CECAFA Kagame Senior Challenge Cup (2021). He regularly officiates CAF Competitions, including AFCON Qualifiers, CAF Champions League, and Confederations Cup.
