Ssenyonjo Stole the Show as AFC Leopards Crushed Tusker FC
AFC Leopards put on a masterclass as they thumped Tusker FC 4-0 at Nyayo Stadium in the Kenya Premier League, and Ugandan striker Samuel Ssenyonjo was the star of the show. The Ugandan forward scored a hat-trick, showcasing his exceptional skill and clinical finishing as he led the Ingwe to a convincing victory.

The first goal came in the 13th minute, and it was a beautifully worked move that set the tone for the rest of the game. Tyson won the ball in the midfield and sent it to James Kinyanjui on the right wing, who delivered a perfect cross into the box. Ssenyonjo was waiting, and he made no mistake, beating the goalkeeper to make it 1-0 for AFC Leopards. The Kenyan side were in control from the outset, and Ssenyonjo’s goal was the perfect start.
Ssenyonjo’s second goal came in the 23rd minute, and it was a goal that showcased his pace and agility, and he was assisted by James Kinyanjui. The Ingwe were 2-0 up, and it was looking ominous for Tusker FC.

Elsewhere, Ugandan defender Denis Iguma was absent for Tusker FC, while Bronson Nsubuga featured for Shabana FC as they drew 0-0 with Gor Mahia FC. Nairobi United and Ulinzi Stars shared spoils 1-1, and Posta Rangers drew 1-1 with Kariabongo Sharks.
Ssenyonjo’s performance was a welcome resurgence for the Ugandan striker, who had joined AFC Leopards this season struggling with form. His hat-trick was a reminder of his quality, and AFC Leopards were hoping he’s back to his best and firing on all cylinders for the rest of the season.
