Kampala Region League: Thrilling Matches Mark End of First Round

The Kampala Region League first round came to a close with some thrilling matches, showcasing the best of Ugandan football. Proline FC set the tone with a 5-2 thrashing of Police Young FC at the Police Kira Road Arena.
Dan Kazibwe, Solomon Lutalo, and Musoke scored for Proline FC, while Osman Locoi Mutumba and Daniel Ogwal scored for Police Young FC.

Double-licensed player Kazibwe Dan scored a hat-trick for Proline FC and was voted Man of the Match, a testament to his impressive performance.
In other matches, Born Talent FC edged Lungujja Galaxy FC 2-0 at the IUIU Kabojja playground, with Ronald Kayongo and Ibrahim Yowabu scoring the goals. This win is a much-needed boost for Born Talent FC, giving them momentum as they head into the second round.

Wembley Boys and Water FC shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw at the East High Ntinda Playground, a result that leaves both teams looking to improve in the next round.
Mutungo Football Club recorded a convincing 3-0 win over Lufula FC at the Luzira Prisons Playground, with Deogratious Adule, Muhammad Lubega, and Waswa Kigongo scoring the goals. Lubega was voted Man of the Match, a fitting reward for his impressive display.

Black Stars FC defeated Mbogo UTD FC 2-0 at the Kanyanya playground, with Benon Lutaaya and Mawa Michael scoring the goals. Steven Kaweesi’s red card left Mbogo UTD FC down to 10 men, making it tough for them to come back.
Nsambya SC and Kisugu UTD shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the Yes Centre Nsambya Playground, a result that sees both teams head into the second round with momentum.
Lukuli Hearts Football Club edged Edgars FC 1-0, a narrow win that gives them confidence as they look to build on their progress.
