Denis Onyango is making a stunning return to the Uganda Cranes at 40 years old, nearly three years after his retirement in April 2022.

He’s been recalled by head coach Paul Put for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mozambique and Somalia. Onyango’s experience and leadership will be invaluable for the team.
