URA FC Name Jimmy Kintu Mwera Head Coach, Magoba Joins As Assistant
The Tax Collectors have a new man in charge. URA FC have appointed Jimmy Kintu Mwera as Head Coach on a two-year deal, with an option to extend.
He will be joined by Godfrey Magoba as First Assistant Coach, also on a two-year renewable contract.
The duo arrive directly from Express FC, where they held the same roles.

Kintu arrives with a proven CV:
CAF A License Holder
- Uganda Christian University: University Football League title 2019, AUSU Championship 2022
- St. Noa Girls FC: FUFA Women Elite League, promotion to Women Super League, FEASSA & USSSA Girls Championships, CECAFA Schools title, and a run to the CAF African Schools Football Championship final in Ghana
- International stints: Nairobi City Stars in Kenya, and Football Development Consultant at Magnet Soccer Academy in Tanzania
First Assistant Godfrey Magoba is also CAF A licensed. He’s held head coach roles at UCU Women’s Team, She Maroons FC, and Entebbe FC, with extensive work in youth, women’s, and university football.
URA say his expertise in player development, technical planning, and high-performance environments will add depth to the technical department.

URA FC say the appointments kick off a wider technical restructuring ahead of the new season. More backroom staff will be announced as preparations continue.
