Ntinda United Hands Mutungo FC First Defeat, Proline FC Edge Born Talent
In a thrilling day of football in the Kampala Region League, seven matches were played, with Ntinda United FC ending Mutungo FC’s unbeaten run in style, while Proline FC edged Born Talent FC 1-0.

At Luzira Prisons Playground, Ntinda United FC came from two goals down to defeat Mutungo FC 3-2 in a breathtaking encounter, marking the end of Mutungo FC’s six-match unbeaten run.
Gerald Adule Deogratious gave Mutungo FC the lead in the 48th minute, and five minutes later, Innocent Tumuhaise doubled Mutungo FC’s lead, only for Ntinda United FC to mount a stunning comeback. Red-hot Kanto Saidi Abubakari pulled one back for Ntinda United FC in the 56th minute, and it was his third goal in his last two games.

Nasser Khemis equalised for Ntinda United 12 minutes later, before Vitus Obbo won it for Ntinda United FC at the death, just one minute into stoppage time, securing their first victory in this campaign.
At Lukuli Naganda playground, Peter Kaye’s first-minute goal was enough as Lukuli Hearts FC defeated Wembley Boys FC 1-0, while at Bugolobi Coffee grounds, Kisugu United lost 3-2 to PCCP FC in the Makindye Derby.

Bryan Matu Tumusiime struck first for Kisugu UTD in the 27th minute, before Allan Kalule equalised for PCCP four minutes later. Bryan Matu reclaimed Kisugu UTD’s lead, completing his brace 10 minutes after the restart of the second half, only for Isaac Muwawu to equalise for PCCP FC in the 70th minute.
Chrispus Ayo scored the winning goal for PCCP FC three minutes to stoppage time.

At Kanyanya playground, Lufula SC thrashed Water Football Club 4-0, with Andrew Katumba scoring in the first minute, Chika Sydney scoring in his own net in the 24th minute, Shisa Joseph Nyanzi scoring the third goal for Lufula SC seven minutes later, and Emmanuel Magala sealing Lufula SC’s victory in the 79th minute, condemning Water FC to remain winless in seven matches.
At MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo, Kiradha Paul’s 78th-minute strike was enough as Proline FC edged Born Talent FC 1-0, marking Born Talent FC’s second loss in a row.

At Kira Road Arena, Police Young FC defeated Nsambya SC 1-0 courtesy of Osman Locoi Mutumba’s 90th-minute strike, while at Kawempe Muslim playground, Abdul Razak Takuba’s 50th-minute strike was enough as Mbogo defeated Kireka United FC 1-0, adding to the day’s thrilling action.
