NEC FC Strengthens Goalkeeping Unit With New Coach .

NEC FC has appointed a new goalkeeping coach, filling the void left by Byuma Muwadda’s departure to URA FC last month. The new coach, Eddie Kawesa, brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously worked with Soltilo Bright Stars FC, BUL FC, and Bulemeezi Ssaza FC, where he served as an assistant coach among others.

The appointment comes as NEC FC looks to strengthen its goalkeeping unit, with talented keepers like Hannington Ssebwalunyo, Samson Kirya, and veteran Ochan Benjamin looking to benefit from Kawesa’s expertise.

As a player, Kawesa had stints with Maji FC and URA FC, among others, giving him a deep understanding of the demands of Ugandan football. His task ahead is clear: help NEC FC improve its goalkeeping and secure crucial wins in the upcoming matches.

The team returns to action tomorrow, hosting Lugazi FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo at 8pm, and Kawesa will be looking to make an immediate impact. With his experience and knowledge, Kawesa is well-equipped to guide NEC FC’s goalkeepers and play a key role in the team’s success.
