Travis Mutyaba, the 19-year-old Ugandan midfielder, has officially joined Tunisian giants CS Sfaxien on a 3-year contract.
Mutyaba signed with CS Sfaxien after parting ways with French club Girondins Bordeaux, where he struggled to get consistent playing time despite being considered one of Uganda’s brightest prospects.

Mutyaba signs a three employment contract
At Bordeaux, Mutyaba featured in 18 league matches, mostly as a substitute, and played three Coupe de France games, scoring once for the reserves. His contract was terminated by mutual consent.
Mutyaba becomes the second Ugandan player to sign for CS Sfaxien after Striker Yunus Sentamu who played for the club from 2014-2015 .

CS Sfaxien, a club with a rich tradition and continental pedigree, offers Mutyaba a chance to restart and showcase his skills. The club has won the Tunisian League eight times and the CAF Confederation Cup three times.
Before joining Bordeaux, Mutyaba played for Egyptian club Zamalek SC, where he won the CAF Confederation Cup, and has represented Uganda in 21 matches, scoring two goals.
