MUNGUDIT FREEDOM JOINS RWANDA PREMIER LEAGUE SIDE MUKURA VICTORY
Transfers: Former Lugazi FC winger Freedom Mungudit signs for Mukura Victory Sports Club
Former Lugazi Football Club winger Freedom Mungudit has completed a move to Rwanda Premier League side Mukura Victory Sports Club.
The pacy winger has signed a two-year employment contract with the Kigali-based club.
Mukuru Victory are also home to Ugandan goalkeeper Nicholas Ssebwato. The club finished 7th on the Rwanda Premier League table last season with 47 points from 34 matches.
Mungudit joined Lugazi FC in 2023 on a three-year deal from Kamwokya United FC. During his time with the Lugazi-based side, he was a key wide player known for taking on defenders, delivering quality crosses, breaking lines and having an eye for goal.
He has also previously featured in the prestigious Masaza Cup for Kooki.
The move makes Mungudit one of the latest Ugandan players to ply their trade in the Rwanda top flight.
