Mawejje Tony Set to Become Police FC Technical Director
Former Uganda Cranes midfielder Tony Mawejje is poised to take on a new role as the Technical Director of Police FC, just days after stepping down as head coach of St Noa Girls Football Club in the FUFA Women’s Super League.

Mawejje, a fan favorite during his playing days, is no stranger to Police FC, having played for the club in two different stints. His most notable moment came in 2006 when he scored a 95th-minute winner in the CECAFA Kagame Cup final against Moro United, securing a 2-1 win and lifting the trophy.

As Police FC’s Technical Director, Tony Mawejje will oversee strategic planning, team management, player acquisition, youth development, scouting, budget management, and football operations, shaping the club’s future and driving success.
