Match Officials Announced for U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers: Uganda Vs Zambia.

Uganda’s U20 women’s national team is gearing up to face Zambia in the first leg of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers on February 7th, 2026, at FUFA Kadiba Stadium. The match promises to be a thrilling encounter, will be officiated by a team of experienced referees.

Leading the team is Innocentia Njang, a Cameroonian referee making waves in African football. Njang has an impressive track record, having officiated in several high-profile tournaments, including the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the CAF Champions League. She also served as a video assistant referee (VAR) during the 2023 U17 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria, including the final.

Assisting Njang is Adeline Djonreba, an experienced assistant referee from Cameroon. Djonreba was voted the best assistant referee at the Cameroon Football Federation’s 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony and has officiated in several high-profile tournaments, including the CAF Women’s Champions League and the Africa Cup of Nations.

Barbara Heloise Kozerembi Yamet from the Central African Republic has been designated as the second assistant referee, while Lecticia Ines Kenga Godeneze, also from the Central African Republic, will serve as the fourth official.

In a bid to create excitement and encourage fan support, FUFA has announced free entrance to the match. The second leg is scheduled to take place on February 14th, 2026, in Zambia.
