Mamelodi And Simba SC Learn Their Fates in CAF Champions League
The 2025/26 CAF Champions League group stage draw has been announced, Mamelodi Sundowns and Simba SC, will be representing their countries in the prestigious tournament.

Mamelodi Sundowns, home to Ugandan goalkeeper Denis Onyango, has been drawn in Group C alongside Al Hilal from Sudan, MC Alger from Algeria, and St Eloi Lupopo from DR Congo.
Meanwhile, Simba SC, home to Ugandan forward Mukwala Steven, has been pitted against Tunisian giants Esperance Tunis, Stade Malien from Mali, and Petro Luanda from Angola in Group D.
Mamelodi Sundowns: Strong Contenders
Mamelodi Sundowns had a convincing 7-1 aggregate win over Remo Stars in the qualifying rounds, showcasing their strength and determination.

With their impressive performance, they will be looking to make a deep run in the competition. Notably, MC Alger, one of their group stage opponents, is now under the stewardship of former Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena, adding an interesting dynamic to their upcoming matches.
Simba SC Faces Tough Challenge
Simba SC will face a tough challenge in Group D, where they will be up against four-time CAF Champions League winners Esperance Tunis. However, with Mukwala Steven leading the charge, Simba SC will be determined to make a statement in the group stage.
