Kizza Signs For NEC FC : A Boost For The Club’s CAF Confederations Cup Campaign.

Mustafa Kizza has joined NEC FC on a two-year contract .

Previously Mustafa Kizza has played for several clubs, including

KCCA FC his boyhood club, where he won several titles, including the Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup.

Express FC 2024-2025 season , CF Montréal In Major League Soccer, where he played in 2020 , Arouca SC : In Portugal’s Primeira Liga, where he played during the 2022-2023 season.

He had a brief stint in Egypt at Telecom FC .

At the National Team Kizza has earned nine competitive caps for Uganda’s senior national team, scoring one goal and registering two assists.

Reason for Joining NEC FCKizza wants to revive his career, play regularly, and potentially earn a return to the national team. NEC FC expects him to bring valuable experience and strengthen their defense as they prepare for the CAF Confederation Cup.

Replacement

Kizza replaces Rashid Okocha, who recently moved to South Sudan’s Jamus FC, and Ismail Kawawulu, who left the club on mutual agreement.

NEC FC’s Expectations

With Kizza’s signing, NEC FC aims to strengthen their squad ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The club finished second in the Uganda Premier League last season, earning a ticket to the continental competition.
