The weekend was a thrilling one for Ugandan footballers plying their trade abroad, with several players making significant contributions to their respective teams.

The likes of Mustafa Kizza, Hakim Kiwanuka, Allan Okello, and Sandra Nabweteme were among the standout performers, showcasing their skills and talent in top leagues around the world.

In Tanzania, Allan Okello netted a goal and earned man-of-the-match honors as Young Africans Sports Club secured a 3-0 victory over Tanzania Prisons in today’s NBC Premier League match on Saturday. Okello also recorded an assist in this particular encounter.

Aucho Khalid played full-time as his side Singida Black Stars FC lost 2-0 to TRA United. Christopher Tebandeke scored a goal for TRA United, played full-time, while Joseph Akandwanaho played 23 minutes for TRA United.

In Mexico, Sandra Nabweteme scored a goal as her side Santos Laguna women lost 2-1 to Pachuca yesterday.

In Belarus, Shamirah Nalugya featured for Dinamo Brest as they claimed a 1-0 win over Zorska SKA.

In the USA, Fauzia Najjembe was introduced in the 71st minute as her side Boston Legacy lost to San Diego. Edward Kizza was an unused substitute as Indy Eleven drew 1-1 with Pittsburgh.

In Israel, Timothy Awanyi played 84 minutes as his side AC Ashdod lost 3-2 to Netanya.

In Romania, Elio Capradossi was an unused substitute as his side Universitatea Cluj defeated Rapid Bucharest 2-1. Al Hassan Baba was introduced in the 78th minute as his side Steau Bucharest lost 3-2 to Botosani.

In Kenya, Edward Masembe was voted Man of the Match as his side APS Bomet edged Ulinzi Stars 1-0.

Mustafa Kizza scored from his own half as his side Nairobi United defeated Shabana FC 3-0 in the Kenya Premier League yesterday.

Samuel Ssenyonjo played 83 minutes as his side AFC Leopards defeated Murang’a Seals 2-0 on Sunday. Goalkeeper James Setuba saved a penalty for AFC Leopards and kept a clean sheet.

Kenya Police Bullets FC

Zainah Namuleme and Margaret Kunuhira both started for Kenya Police Bullets as they defeated Kibera Soccer Women FC 2-0. Namuleme was voted Woman of the Match.

In Scotland.

Elvis Bwomono was on the bench as his side Aberdeen lost 1-0 to St Mirren. Uche Mubiru Ikpeazu was introduced in the 45th minute as Ross County lost 4-0 to Airdrienians in the Scotland Championship.

Jordan Obita played full-time as Hibernian defeated Kilmarnock 3-0 in the Scottish Premiership.

Rogers Mato was an unused substitute as Hearts drew 2-2 with Livingston in the England Championship on Friday.

Divine Mukasa played 89 minutes as Leicester City drew 2-2 with Preston.

Toby Sibbick was an unused substitute as Burton Albion drew 1-1 with Barnsley.

Nathan Assimwe was introduced in the 89th minute as AFC Wimbledon lost 1-0 to Lincoln City. Bevis Mugabi was an unused substitute as Carlisle United drew 0-0 with Gateshead.

In Vietnam, Joseph Mpande played 46 minutes as his side drew 1-1 with Binh Doung. Binh Doung is the home of Geoffrey Baba Kizito, who was an unused substitute in this particular encounter.
