The visitors took the lead early, courtesy of a penalty kick by experienced forward Kaddu Patrick Henry in the 11th minute. However, Police FC equalized through Lawrence Tezikya’s header off Daniel Jakony’s freekick, leaving the teams level at halftime.
The second half was a tale of missed opportunities for both sides, with chances galore going begging.
But it was Kitara FC who struck gold in the dying embers of the game, with Isaac Amutuhaire scoring the winner in the 92nd minute to send the away fans into raptures.

Police FC, on the other hand, remain third on the table with 14 points from eight matches, and will be looking to bounce back when they host Buhimba on December 3 at Kira Road Police Arena. Kitara FC, meanwhile, will be away to URA FC on December 4, looking to build on their late win against Police FC.
