KCCA FC Acquires 30% Stake in Kampala Queens

KCCA FC has formally acquired a 30% stake in Kampala Queens FC for an initial one-year period, with plans to gradually increase its ownership in the coming years.
Under the renewed agreement, Kampala Queens will be rebranded as KCCA Women FC and adopt KCCA FC’s official colours, branding and visual identity. However, the team will retain its popular “Kampala Queens” nickname.
The women’s side will operate alongside KCCA FC as the club’s official women’s team, marking a significant step in the club’s commitment to developing women’s football.

KCCA FC says it will invest structural, commercial and technical resources into the women’s team as part of a long-term plan to build a stronger football institution and achieve greater success on the pitch.
The partnership brings together KCCA FC’s established football structure and Kampala Queens’ growing identity, with ambitions of strengthening the women’s game and creating a more competitive force in Ugandan football.
