Kayda Sports Academy: Nurturing Young Football Talent in Uganda.
Founded in 1995 at Katwe, clock tower grounds by a Faisal Nsubuga former Police FC goalkeeper who was also a FUFA National Referee and Current CAF Assessor, Kayda Sports Academy has been a breeding ground for young football talent in Uganda.

Over the years, the academy has nurtured a number of players who have gone on to achieve significant success in Ugandan football.
A Legacy of Producing Talented Players
Kayda Sports Academy has produced several notable players who have represented Uganda at various levels. Some of the notable alumni include:

Geoffrey Sserunkuma- 2016-17 MVP UPL
Geoffrey Sserunkuma: Former Uganda Cranes forward who played for a number of clubs like KCCA FC, Police FC, Lweza, NEC FC Bloemfontein Celtics ,Vasco Da Gama , Bidvest in South Africa, Buildcon in Zambia, Saint George in Ethiopia among others.

Gavin Kizito: Uganda Cranes player Who featured for 17 time Uganda Premier League champions SC Villa and currently plays for KCCA FC.

Who Can Join Kayda Sports Academy?

The academy is open to aspiring athletes of all skill levels, aged 4 and above. Football training is designed for any age and ability, focusing on helping beginners gain confidence and enabling talented players to hone their skills to the next stage.

Registration Details
Interested individuals can register for the academy’s programs starting on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025. Training locations include:
