Kampala Region League: Edgars Edged Police Young While Kireka Registered A Convincing 3-0 Win Over Buganda Road
The second round of the Kampala Region League exploded onto the scene over the weekend, with eight electrifying matches that left fans on the edge of their seats, played out across Group 3 and Group 4.
Group 3
At Jemes Cambridge, Butabika, Police Young FC suffered a narrow 1-0 loss to Edgars FC. Substitute Joseph Kimera’s well-taken shot into the far corner in the 61st minute proved the difference.
Police Young weren’t sharp enough on the day, having wasted a lot of clear chances. Coach Sharifa Nantumbwe’s side Edgars FC began the second round in flying fashion.
At Kakungulu Memorial, Kibuli Playground, PCCP FC and Kisugu United FC served up a thrilling 1-1 draw in the Makindye Derby. Allan Kalule struck first for PCCP FC in the 13th minute, but Matu Tumusiime equalized for Kisugu UTD FC nine minutes later.
At Kyambogo College playground, Born Talent FC suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat at home to Black Stars FC.
At Kawempe Muslim playground, Mbogo UTD FC secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Proline FC.

Wembley Boys and Lukuli Hearts FC shared spoils in a 0-0 stalemate at East High Ntinda Playground.
Buganda Road FC suffered a 3-0 loss to Kireka United at Express Kanyanya playground.
Lungujja Galaxy FC claimed a convincing 3-1 victory over Lufula FC at Kanyanya playground
At Yes Centre Nsambya Playground Water Football Club shared spoils 0-0 with Nsambya SC.
