The Kampala Region League commenced over the weekend with eight matches, featuring thrilling encounters and unexpected results.

At Kanyanya playground, Buganda Road FC defeated Lufula FC 1-0 to register their first victory this season. It was Kiggundu Arafat’s lonely strike in the 16th minute of halftime that secured the win for Buganda Road FC.
Water Football Club shared spoils 1-1 with Mbogo UTD FC.
Takuba Abdu scored for Mbogo UTD FC in the 19th minute while Aziku Joshua equalised for Water FC from the penalty kick in the 91st minute.
At Yes Centre Nsambya Playground, Mawa Michael’s 11th-minute own goal was enough as Nsambya SC defeated Black Stars FC 1-0
