Kampala Region League Kick-off Dates & Fixtures Revealed

The Kampala Region Football Associations has confirmed that the 2025-26 season will kick off on October 18, 2025.

Unlike previous seasons, where the league was played in two groups (Scorpion and Cobra), this season all teams will play in a combined league on a home-and-away basis.

The league will comprise 16 teams, with the top team qualifying for inter-regional playoffs and the bottom three teams being relegated to the 4th division (Province).

The 2023-24 champions, Proline FC, will host Lufula SC at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, at 3 pm on October 18, 2025.

Proline FC has added Mugabi Jonathan, a former SC Villa and URA FC defender, to their technical team.

Coach Peter Onen’s side, Wembley Boys, will face Water FC at 4 pm at Kibuli SS playground.

Wembley Boys FC is a feeder side for the 17-time Uganda Premier League champions, SC Villa. Water FC is under the stewardship of Bianomugisha Viali.

Kisugu UTD will face PCCP Football Club at Kakungulu Memorial in the Makindye Derby at 4 pm, while Black Stars Football will take on Mutungo FC at Kanyanya Express ground at 4 pm.

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, Kireka UTD FC will host Lukuli Hearts FC at Kings Park playground.

Born Talent will host Mbogo UTD at Kyambogo College, and Nsambya SC will host Edgar’s FC at Yes Centre Nsambya.

Police Young Football Club will host Ntinda UTD FC at the newly renovated Kira Road Police Arena in the Nakawa Derby.
