Kampala Region League Commences with Match Day Five
The Kampala Region League commenced this weekend with match day five, featuring seven matches at different venues. On Saturday, Coach Sharifa Nantumbwe’s side, Edgars FC, will host in-form Kisugu UTD at Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium.

Edgars FC is one of the unbeaten sides this season in the Kampala Region League, sitting fourth on the board with six points in four rounds, while Kisugu UTD, who defeated Wembley Boys in their previous match, sit 11th on the board with five points from four matches.
At Kanyanya playground, Buganda Road FC will host Lufula FC.
Both teams are winless this season in four matches, Lufula managing two draws with two losses, while Buganda managing just one draw with three losses, sitting 15th on the table, while Lufula sit 14th on the table.
Buganda Road will rely on former Express FC forward Jaliru Zimula, who has so far scored four goals.

Off-form Water FC will host Mbogo UTD FC.
Water FC is the only team this season in the new league format yet to pick a point, sitting at the bottom of the table. Making matters worse, Water FC have scored only one goal in four matches, conceding 10 goals.
On the other hand, Mbogo UTD FC will look to return to winning ways, currently sitting sixth on the table with five points from four matches.
Mbogo UTD FC will bank on their forward Hamuza Kasumba, who is the current leading top scorer with five goals.

At Kisasi Highland School, last season’s runners-up, Ntinda United FC, will host Lukuli Hearts FC.
Surprisingly, Ntinda United FC are currently struggling this season with three losses and one draw in four matches, sitting 16th on the board with just one point. On the other hand, Lukuli Hearts FC sit 12th on the table with four points after four rounds.

At Kings Park Bweyogere, table leaders Proline FC will look to maintain their top spot as they visit Kireka United FC in the Nakawa Derby.
Kireka United FC sit seventh on the board with five points from four matches, while Proline FC, who are currently unbeaten this season, sit on top of the summit with six points from four matches.

Proline FC will bank on red-hot Gerald Lukola, who has netted four goals this season.
At Kyambogo College playground, in another Nakawa Derby, Coach Bart’s side, Born Talent FC, will host Police Young FC.
Born Talent FC have just managed one win in four matches, drawing three times, sitting 9th on the board with five points, while Police Young FC sit 10th on the board with five points.

At Yes Centre Nsambya, Nsambya SC will face Ali Kabajja’s side, Black Stars FC.
Black Stars FC are currently unbeaten this season with a number of experienced players, like Samuel Ssekito, the former URA FC defender.
Black Stars sit fifth on the board with six points from four matches. On the other hand, Nsambya SC will bank on former Vipers SC and KCCA FC forward Odur Tony, who has netted three goals so far and netted in the previous 1-1 draw with Mutungo FC on Monday. Nsambya SC are winless in four matches with three draws and one loss.

On Sunday
At IUIU Kabojja, struggling Lungujja Galaxy FC will host unbeaten Mutungo FC.
Mutungo FC are currently second on the table with six points after four rounds, while Lungujja Galaxy FC sit 17th on the board with just one point from four matches.

In the last match, Wembley Boys FC will look to bounce back to winning ways after suffering a 1-0 loss to Kisugu UTD FC as they host PCCP FC at East High Ntinda.
Wembley Boys FC sit 8th on the table with five points from four matches, while PCCP FC sit 3rd on the table with six points from four matches. Just to remind, a win this round is worth two points.
