Gomba Register First Victory, Buddu Stun At Home While Buweekula Completes A Double Over Bulemeezi

Five matches were played today in Masaza Cup.

Gomba vs Busiro: Gomba won 2-0 against Busiro at Kabulasoke PTC, with Robert Ssewanyana scoring in the 63rd minute and Kiyingi Murushid adding another goal in the 81st minute.

This was Gomba’s first win of the campaign and the second goal for Ssewanyana Robert .

Bulemeezi vs Buweekula: Buweekula beat Bulemeezi 1-0 at Kasana Playground, with Ssonko Shafik scoring the only goal.

Buweekula completed a double over Bulemeezi.

Buddu vs Buluuli: Buluuli upset Buddu 2-0 at Kitovu Sports Arena, with Peter Ssemyalo scoring in the 9th minute and adding another goal in the 83rd minute.

Buluuli completed a double over Buddu in the Bulange Group.

Busujju vs Ssese: Busujju defeated Ssese 2-1 at Kakindu Playground.

Musaka Andrew gave Ssese an early lead, but Lubwama Lauben equalized and then scored the winning goal for Busujju.

Ssingo vs Mawogola: Ssingo beat Mawogola 1-0 at Mityana Ssaza ground, securing their second win of the campaign under coach Basto Ssemuyaba.

It was Ochama Isa’s own goal in the the 9th minute that gave Ssingo all the three maximum points.

These results show exciting performances from some teams, while others struggled to find their footing.
