New FUFA Big League entrants Catda Football Club, ‘The Lufula Boys,’ will start their FUFA Big League campaign tomorrow at Bugolobi Coffee Grounds against Kigezi HomeBoyz FC.

They edged Ntinda UTD FC to emerge champions of the Kampala Region League 2024-25 Season.
During the promotional playoffs finals, they defeated Buganda Region League champions Super Eagles Lungogwe to earn promotion to the FUFA Big League under the stewardship of Hamidu Kibirango.

The Nakawa-based side strengthened their technical department after the appointment of the former KCCA FC tactician George ‘Best’ Nsimbe as their head coach.
During the transfer window, Catda Football Club has signed a number of players, including Fred Okot, Kevin Kyeyune, Aggrey Atandu, Hudson Mbalire on double license from NEC FC, and Kikonyogo Ronald, among others.

Kigezi HomeBoyz FC also recently appointed Saddick Ssempigi as their new head coach.
