SLAVKO VINCIC TO REFEREE 2026 FIFA WORLD CUP FINAL BETWEEN ARGENTINA AND SPAIN
FIFA has confirmed the match officials for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final between defending champions Argentina and Spain, set for July 19.
Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic will take charge of the showpiece final.
The third-place playoff between England and France will be handled by Venezuela’s Jesus Valenzuela.
Vincic, 45, has been a FIFA-listed referee since 2010.

He will be assisted by fellow Slovenians Tomaz Klancnik and Andraz Kovacic as assistant referees.
Adham Makhadmeh will be the fourth official, with Mohammad Alkalaf as reserve assistant referee.
For the third-place playoff between France and England, FIFA has appointed Jesus Valenzuela of Venezuela as referee.
He will be assisted by Jorge Urrego and Tulio Moreno.
Jal Jayed is named fourth official, with Zakaria Brinsi as reserve assistant referee.
The World Cup final on July 19 promises to be a blockbuster, with Argentina aiming to defend their title against a star-studded Spain side.
