Muhammad Shaban Departs Kitara FC By Mutual Consent

Kitara FC and forward Muhammad Shaban have mutually agreed to part ways, the club can confirm.

The announcement was made by the player’s agent, Ronnie Santos.

Shaban joined the Royals in late February 2026 but struggled for consistent game time at Hoima. Injuries also limited his impact during his spell with the Uganda Cup holders.

The Uganda Cranes striker departs after a short stint that saw him compete for minutes in a crowded attacking department.

Shaban brings a wealth of experience. Before Kitara, he featured for Vipers SC, KCCA FC, Onduparaka FC, and Raja Casablanca.
He also had spells abroad with Libyan sides Al Akhdar and Al Hilal Benghazi
