Kampala Region Boys Football USSSA Qualifiers are just around the corner, kicking off next week on Thursday, April 9th, and running until April 14th, 2026.

Bishops Cipriano Kihangire, who was in Group B of the USSSA Nakawa Qualifiers alongside St Kizito and Lake Side College, had a strong showing. They defeated St Kizito and drew goalless with Lake Side College, showcasing their skills. Although they lost the finals 1-0 to Kyambogo College, their performance earned them a spot in the district qualifiers for the fourth consecutive time under coach Drati Mike.

Speaking to Coach Drati Mike, he expressed his happiness with his team’s progress, saying, “My main target is to take Bishops Cipriano this time around for the Nationals. I would also want to thank my players for the good display and fighting spirit they have shown through the Nakawa Qualifiers and my technical team.” With this momentum, the task ahead for Coach Mike and his team is clear: lead Bishops Cipriano Kihangire to victory in the district qualifiers and secure a spot at the Nationals post-primary.

Bishops Cipriano Kihangire’s next opponents in Group A include Uganda Martyrs Rubaga, Kololo SS, Kakungulu, and Caltec Academy. The team is looking strong, and with Coach Mike’s experience and determination, they’re aiming high.

As they prepare for the district qualifiers, the focus is on maintaining their fighting spirit and teamwork. With their sights set on the Nationals, Bishops Cipriano Kihangire is ready to make their mark.
