The Buganda Region League resumed today with five thrilling encounters, and Simba FC emerged as the big winners, moving to the top of the table.

Cyril Enos Ejoku’s brace inspired Simba FC to a 2-1 victory over Nantabulirwa, with the Simba FC forward scoring in the 43rd and 49th minutes to cancel out Martin Seguya’s 35th-minute goal for the hosts.

In other matches, Buwambo United missed the chance to go top of the table, drawing 0-0 away to Masaka City SC.
