Kampala Region League: UGX 20 Million Up For Grabs In Thriling Season Final Round.

Final table of Round one.
The final phase of the Kampala Region League is set to kick off this weekend, with thrilling encounters across different venues. Two rounds have been played so far, and the league comprises 18 teams. During the first round, all the teams faced each other in a one-legged match, which means each team played 18 matches.
In Round 2, the teams were split into two groups: the top nine were placed in Group 2, and the bottom nine were placed in Group 3. The top six teams in Group 2 have earned their spots in Group 4, battling for the championship title.

Final Table Standings in Round 2
Group 4: Championship Showdown.
The six teams competing in Group 4 are Edgars FC, Mutungo Proline FC, Black Stars, Born Talent FC, PCCP FC, and Proline FC. Black Stars FC from Kampala District Football Association finished top of Group 2, and the team with the most points in Group 4 will be crowned Kampala Region League champions for the 2025-26 season.
Group 5: Middle-of-the-Pack Battle.
The last three teams in Group 2 and the top three teams in Group 3 have been placed in Group 5, which comprises Wembley Boys FC, Police Young FC, Mbogo UTD, Ntinda United, Kisugu United, and Nsambya SC.

Group 6: Relegation Battle
The last six teams are fighting for survival in Group 6, which includes Lukuli Hearts, Lufula SC, Buganda Road, Water FC, Kireka United, and Lungujja Galaxy. Former FUFA Big League sides Kireka United FC and Water FC are in danger of getting relegated, and the bottom four teams in this group will be relegated to the Kampala Region Province League.
What’s Changed in Round 3.
A win is now worth three points, up from two points in the previous two rounds. The teams will face each other on a home and away basis, compared to the previous round, which was one-legged. The winner of this season will walk away with a prize of Ugandan Shillings 20 million. Lockeroom bonuses of UGX 50,000 per player per win and Man of the Match awards of UGX 150,000 are also up for grabs.
