Atlas Lions Land In Kenya: Morocco First Team to Arrive For CHAN

Morocco’s national team, also known as the Atlas Lions, has become the first team to arrive in Nairobi, Kenya for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

They landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 4:00 am local time on Monday, July 28, 2025.

This early arrival is a strategic move to acclimate to the local environment, get familiar with the facilities, and build team cohesion before the tournament kicks off.

Morocco’s CHAN 2025 Schedule:

• August 3, 2025: Morocco vs. Angola at the Nyayo National Stadium
• August 10, 2025: Morocco vs. Kenya
• August 14, 2025: Zambia vs. Morocco
• August 17, 2025: Morocco vs. DR Congo

They are grouped in a competitive Group A alongside hosts Kenya, DR Congo, Angola, and Zambia
