Goalkeeper Richard Anyama Returns to Jamus SC on Two-Year Deal

South Sudan Premier League giants Jamus SC have re-signed goalkeeper Richard Anyama ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Anyama first joined Jamus at the start of the 2025-26 campaign but departed before the end of the first round to return to Uganda. He linked up with UPDF Football Club, where he played a key role in helping the side avoid relegation from the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

The shot-stopper has now put pen to paper on a two-year contract to take him back to Juba. Jamus, who fell short in last season’s title race, are reshaping their squad for a stronger push this term. Alongside Anyama, the club has added Cameroonian winger Etame Florian Steve from Brazilian side Associação Atlética, Cameroonian forward Njoya Mbohou Adamou from FC 105 Gabon, and Edu Emmanuel among other new arrivals.

Anyama has previously featured for Saints FC, Arua Hill SC, and Onduparaka FC in Uganda amongothers. Born in Uganda, Anyama opted to represent the South Sudan national team at international level.
