The Bika Bya Baganda tournament resumed today with a full slate of Round of 16 fixtures, delivering goals, drama, and penalty shootout heartbreak as eight clans booked their place in the quarter-finals.

Mutima Musangi edged Mbogo 4-2 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in normal time. Trevor Bbale and Seremba Joseph netted for Mutima Musangi, while Ssentamu Yunus and Nelson Ssenkatuka scored for Mbogo before the shootout decided it.

Ngo pulled off a surprise 4-2 win over Ffumbe. Joseph Ssemujju grabbed a brace, with Nicholas Ssenono and Kavuma Abdu also on target. Enrique Lubwama and Anwar Ntege replied for Ffumbe but couldn’t prevent the exit.

Nkima kept things tight, edging Ndiga 1-0 thanks to a single goal from Arafat Ssentongo.

Nakinsige held their nerve in another shootout, beating Ngabi Nsamba 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. Ssembuusi Razak opened the scoring for Ngabi Nsamba before Ssenyonga Mikidad equalised for Nakinsige.

Kkobe advanced with a 2-1 win over Njovu. Male Michael and Kayongo Samuel scored for Kkobe, while Ssejjuga Musa pulled one back for Njovu.

Kasimba secured a comfortable 3-1 victory over Nsenene to move into the last eight.

Mmamba Kakoboza overcame Mmamba 2-1 in a clan derby. Ryan Kizito and Muhammad Kanyike scored for Kakoboza, with Juda Mutebi netting a consolation for Mmamba.

Ngabi Nunga rounded off the day with a 5-4 penalty win over Mbwa after a goalless draw.
