KCCA FC, the thirteen-time Uganda Premier League champions, kept their title hopes alive with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Entebbe UPPC FC at Bugonga Fisheries Ground in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
The match was tightly contested, but pacy winger Sammy Ssebaduka scored the crucial goal for KCCA Football Club in the 71st minute, breaking the hearts of Entebbe UPPC FC fans. Ssebaduka’s pace and ability to deliver good crosses have been instrumental for KCCA FC in their title campaign.

The win is also a revenge for KCCA FC, who lost to Entebbe UPPC FC in the first leg at the MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo courtesy of Ambrose Kigozi’s solitary strike. Coach Brian Ssenyondo’s boys did what was required to pick all the three maximum points.
KCCA Football Club have won two matches in a row, keeping a clean sheet in both matches. Midfielder Joel Sserunjogi was voted the StarTimes Uganda Premier League Man of the Match for the second consecutive time, having won the same accolade in their previous match against Kitara Football Club last week.

KCCA FC are still four points behind Vipers SC, the table leaders, with six matches left, sitting second on the board with 51 points from 24 matches. They will return to action on April 25th away to Calvary FC.
