Kampala Region League Drama Unfolds: Black Stars FC , Born Talent, Proline FC And Mutungo Sealed Championship Round Spots.

In a thrilling match at Kawempe Muslim playground, Black Stars FC edged Kisugu UTD FC 1-0 thanks to a late strike from Sudaic Mutale in the 93rd minute.

The win was enough to secure Black Stars FC’s place in the championship round, and they currently top group 2 with 37 points from 25 matches. Kisugu UTD FC, on the other hand, will face the relegation round.

Proline FC also booked their spot in the championship round with a 1-0 win over PCCP FC, courtesy of Musa Male’s stoppage-time strike.

PCCP FC will need to avoid defeat when they host Mbogo UTD FC on Saturday to keep their hopes alive.

On the other hand Proline FC will visit Edgars FC on Saturday at Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium .

In other matches, Born Talent FC showcased their resurgence with a 2-0 win over Mbogo UTD FC, with Tony Lwanga and Steven Kirya scoring the goals. Born Talent FC have already confirmed their place in the championship group and will face Police Young FC on Saturday.

Water FC and Lukuli Hearts FC shared spoils 1-1 at UICT playground, with Water FC set to play in the relegation round. Lukuli Hearts FC will face Buganda Road FC on Sunday.

Wembley Boys FC and Lufula SC also shared spoils 0-0, with Lufula SC relegated to the relegation group.

At Luzira Prisons Barracks ground Mutungo FC shared spoils 1-1 with Police Young FC in the Nakawa Derby.

Mutungo FC will face Kisugu in their last group 2 match on Saturday at Luzira Prisons Playground.

Rahman Mutebi scored for Lungujja Galaxy FC in the 25th minute as they shared spoils 1-1 with Nsambya SC.

Electric winger Ofoyrwoth Isaac scored Nsambya SC’s equalizer in the 90th minute.

Lungujja Galaxy FC will host Wembley Boys on Sunday at 2pm at Express Kanyanya playground while Nsambya SC will visit Kireka United FC at Kings Park Arena Bweyogere.

The drama will continue on Saturday and Sunday as teams battle it out for the remaining spots.

The Kampala Region League table is heating up, and the championship round is shaping up to be an exciting ride
