The FUFA Academies League is off to a flying start, with thrilling encounters unfolding across various venues over the weekend.

The latest action saw some impressive performances, with teams showcasing their skills and talents in pursuit of supremacy.

Maroons SA got their campaign off to a winning start, edging Proline SA 1-0 courtesy of Wetale Jesse’s goal at Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium.

In another match at the same venue, KJT SA thrashed Edgars Youth Programme 3-0, with Sebuufu Joseph scoring a brace and Musinguzi Kevin adding the other goal.

Prosper SA also had a great day, whitewashing Teletubbies Kids SA 5-0, thanks to Uthuman Ali’s hattrick and Mugede Jonathan’s brace.

Rays of Grace SA were in top form, demolishing Vipers SC SA 7-1. Elvis Ssekajugo, Mutawakali Sumaku, and Were Shafiq scored for Rays, while Mollu Amos and Kiganda Ivan added a brace each. Abubaka Ayub scored the consolation goal for Vipers SA.

At Twinbrook Schools, El Cambio SA ran riot, thrasing Twinbrook SA 5-2. Kalule Ladded and Kasumba Angello scored braces, while Ian Wafula added another goal for El Cambio.

Pase A Pase SA also had a convincing win, thrashing Kayda SA 4-0, with Nsereko Collin, Wetaka Deo, Kisitu Gideon, and Olumu Emmanuel scoring the goals.

In a couple of closely-fought matches, Kyadondo SA drew 1-1 with Msingi SA, while Ebenezer SA and Buddo SA shared the spoils in a 0-0 stalemate.

St Mary’s Kitende SA cruised past Watoto SA 7-2.
