FUFA Big League side Appoints Mubarak Wamboya As Their New Head coach.

Abu Mubarak Wamboya has been appointed head coach of FUFA Big League side Young Elephant Academy FC until the end of the season. The appointment comes after he left Kenya Division One side Chebaiywa Lions FC in March, citing interference from his bosses according to Wabombo sports.

Young Elephants FC suffered a 3-0 loss to Bunyaruguru United FC on Sunday, adding pressure to the new coach’s task of turning the team’s fortunes around.

Mubarak Wamboya is a direct replacement of Coach Allan Kabonge who completed his move to Iganga United FC yesterday, leaving a gap that Wamboya is expected to fill.

Young Elephants FC currently sit 10th on the table with 28 points from 22 matches, and there’s hope that Wamboya’s experience will help them climb up the ranks. Wamboya has previously worked with several clubs, including Vipers SC (as assistant coach), Onduparaka FC, Mbale Heroes FC (twice), Mbale Garage FC, Gaddafi FC, and CATDA FC, giving him a wealth of experience to draw from in his new role.
