KCCA Edged Police, BUL FC Thumped Calvary, While Kitara Dropped Two Points
In a thrilling day of StarTimes Uganda Premier League action, KCCA FC edged Police FC 2-1, while BUL FC thumped Calvary FC 5-1 at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

BUL FC vs Calvary FC
At the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, Alex Isabirye’s side BUL FC thrashed Calvary FC 5-1 yesterday. Midfielder Jerome Kirya had given BUL FC the lead in the 20th minute, and six minutes later, Isaac Wagoina doubled their lead from a spot kick. In the 35th minute, forward Karim Ndugwa extended BUL FC’s lead.
Emmanuel Ojok pulled one back for Calvary FC in the 40th minute. Wagoina scored his second goal of the day in the 62nd minute, and completed his hat-trick in stoppage time, making the scoreline 5-1 in favour of BUL FC.

Calvary FC, with three points, remained at the bottom of the table, having failed to register a victory in 19 matches, while BUL FC sat 8th with 26 points from 19 matches.
KCCA FC vs Police FC
Under floodlights, KCCA FC had claimed a 2-1 victory over Police FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo. Herbert Achai gave KCCA FC the lead from a well-taken free kick in the 16th minute.

In the 30th minute, Mayanja Ivan scored the second goal from a header, capitalizing on Ivan Ahimbisibwe’s cross. Police FC’s response in the 32nd minute wasn’t enough, despite Rogers Tezikya pulling one back.
Coach Brian Ssenyondo’s side KCCA FC emerged victorious, moving third on the table with 39 points from 19 matches. The Kasasiro Boys KCCA FC had now won three matches in a row and were set to return to action on March 11th, hosting Express FC.
UPDF FC vs Kitara FC
At the Bombo Military Barracks ground, relegation-threatened UPDF FC shared spoils 1-1 with Kitara FC. Ivan Bogere had given the army side UPDF FC the lead in the 71st minute, but Muhammad Shaban was brought down in the penalty area, and Kabon Living scored for Kitara FC in the 82nd minute.

This was his second goal in two matches since his return from URA FC. Waswa Bbosa’s side had failed to close the gap, dropping two crucial points, and currently sat second on the table with 40 points from 19 matches. Relegation-threatened UPDF FC sat 15th with 13 points from 19 matches.
UPDF Football Club will return to action on 11th of this month at home against Vipers SC while Kitara FC will visit Mbarara City FC on 10th of this month.
