Former SC Villa attacking midfielder Johnson Ssenyonga has joined Buganda Region League side Buwambo United FC. Ssenyonga, who previously played for Jinja North in the FUFA Big League, Kakooge Town Council, and non-league side Football Classroom, brings a wealth of experience to the team .

Ssenyonga’s experience and skills will be a big boost to Buwambo United, who are eyeing promotion to the FUFA Big League. The midfielder is known for his pace, goalscoring abilities, and creativity on the pitch, which will add depth to Buwambo’s attacking options.

Buwambo United who are under the Stewardship of Kimuli Peter currently sit second in the league table with 32 points, four points behind leaders UWA FC, who have 36 points.

The team, under Kimuli Peter, is facing stiff competition from Young Simba (31 points) and Masaka City SC (29 points), who are third and fourth, respectively. Ssenyonga’s signing is part of Buwambo’s push for promotion, following the additions of Onguruchu Mensor, Lubega Augustine, Kibuuka Vicent, and Karungi Abubakali.
