Born Talent FC Unleashes Four-Goal Mauling on Buganda Road FC, Mutungo and Water FC Registered Thrilling Wins

The Kampala Region League kicked off match day 10 in style, with several thrilling encounters played out across various venues in the city. One of the highlights of the day was the meeting between Born Talent FC and Buganda Road FC at the Kanyanya Express playground, where Born Talent FC unleashed a four-goal mauling on their opponents.

Born Talent FC got off to a flying start, with Tony Lwanga capitalizing on a goalkeeper’s mistake to give them an early lead in the 3rd minute. Just two minutes later, Ronald Kayongo doubled their lead with a header, and six minutes later, Kayongo completed his brace, leaving Born Talent FC 3-0 up within the first 11 minutes.

Odeke Edmond sealed the deal in the 67th minute, as Born Talent FC romped to a 4-0 victory. The only sour note for the match was a yellow card shown to Buganda Road FC’s Nasif Kamoga for persistent offending.

In other matches, Water FC registered their third victory of the campaign, edging Kireka United FC 1-0 at the UICT Playground, Nakawa. Moses Tumusiime’s 75th-minute strike proved the difference, as coach Bianomugisha Viali’s team picked up a valuable win. Meanwhile, Police Young FC shared the spoils in a goalless draw with PCCP at the Kira Road Police Arena.

Black Stars FC returned to winning ways, defeating Lukuli Hearts FC 1-0 at the Express Kanyanya playground, thanks to Mushin Ssebitosi’s 30th-minute strike.

In a highly contested match at the Kibuli playground, Mutungo FC came from a goal down to edge Kisugu UTD FC 2-1.

Kisugu UTD FC had taken the lead through Mukwayo Bruno in the 24th minute, but Innocent Tumuhaise equalized for Mutungo FC at halftime.

The hosts were left counting the cost, however, as they were reduced to 10 men in the 91st minute, and Deogratious Gerald Adule scored the winner for Mutungo FC in the 92nd minute.

In other action, Nsambya SC shared the spoils 2-2 with Edgars FC at the Wankulukuku Stadium, Mbogo UTD FC defeated Ntinda United FC 1-0. The results have shaken up the league table, with several teams vying for position ahead of the next round of matches.
