Mukwaya’s Hat-Trick Led Kisugu UTD to Victory, Shafiq Magogo Shone for Edgars
The Kampala Region League match day eight was filled with thrilling encounters, upsets, and surprises.

At Kakungulu Memorial Playground Kibuli, Kisugu UTD FC returned to winning ways, claiming a 3-1 victory over Lukuli Hearts Football Club.
Pacy winger Bruno Mukwaya netted a hat-trick (34′, 77′, 82′) for Kisugu United FC, while Isihaaq Lubega pulled one back for Lukuli Hearts FC in the 73rd minute.
Kisugu UTD FC were reduced to 10 men as Gabriel Emolu was sent off in the 46th minute. This was coach Abudu Muyimba’s first victory since replacing Yassir Magala a few weeks ago.

In a thrilling encounter at Police Kira Road Arena, Police Young FC came from a goal down to defeat Ntinda United FC 2-1. On-form Kanto Saidi gave Ntinda the lead in the 54th minute, while Cosmas Osuna leveled matters for Police Young FC six minutes later.
Right at the death, Osuman Lucol sealed the victory for Police Young FC in the 92nd minute.
Proline FC thrashed Lungujja Galaxy FC 4-0 at the MTN Omondi Stadium.

John Bazanye netted a first-half brace in the 5th and 21st minutes, and Proline FC extended their lead from an own goal in the 30th minute.
Former Entebbe UPPC FC midfielder Kazibwe Dan sealed Proline FC’s victory in the 50th minute. It was clear that Lungujja Galaxy FC were not ready for the league.

At Kanyanya playground, Lufula SC shared spoils 1-1 with Born Talent FC.
In another match, Buganda Road FC defeated Water FC 2-0, with Captain Joseph Nyombi striking first in the 41st minute and Moses Ayikobua sealing their victory seven minutes from stoppage time.
Mbogo UTD FC thrashed Nsambya SC 4-1, with Adiri Mpiima scoring a brace in the 42nd and 74th minutes.
Abdul Razak Kiruma Takuba scored their third goal in the 51st minute, while veteran forward Tony Odur pulled one back for Nsambya SC in the 85th minute. Hamuza Kasumba sealed the victory for Mbogo UTD in the 91st minute.
At Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium, Coach Sharifa Nantumbwe’s side Edgars FC returned to winning ways, thrashing Kireka United FC 6-1.
Kennedy Muserero gave Edgars FC the lead in the 3rd minute, Shafik Raiven Magogo doubled Edgars’ lead in the 17th minute, and Jovan Mulondo added the third goal in the 36th minute.
Kimera Joseph scored the fourth goal for Edgars FC in the 51st minute, Amisi Bwangani pulled one back for Kireka United FC in the 69th minute, Francis Kalyango scored the fifth goal for Edgars FC in the 71st minute, and Jovan Mulondo sealed their victory with the sixth goal in the 73rd minute.
These thrilling encounters have shaken up the Kampala Region League table, with teams vying for the top spot.
